FAQ
Are you an LGBT+ Inclusive Photographer?
ABSOLUTELY. My wife and I have been together for over 10 years and I know firsthand how important it is to find someone who makes you feel safe, welcomed, and celebrated. Our entire experience will be a safe, welcoming, loving experience where you and your loved ones are free to be themselves without fear of judgment or harm.
How many pictures will we receive?
Each collection includes up to a specified number of professionally edited images. I carefully select the strongest images for you to choose from, creating a proof gallery that tells the story of your session without overwhelming you with repetitive images. Additional images are always available for purchase if you'd like even more favorites!
How should I dress for my session?
Please wear whatever makes you feel most comfortable! I am more than happy to help you choose outfits and colors based on our chosen locations. When it comes to maternity sessions, I have a client closet of dresses you can choose from if that is more convenient for you!
What are the additional fees that you mention?
All session prices are based on the standard session outlined in each package. Additional fees may apply for outfit changes, location changes, or adding people beyond what is included in your selected session.
Outfit change: $5 per outfit, per person
Location change: $10 per location
Family sessions:
• 6–8 people: +$50
• 9–12 people: +$100
• 13+ people: Custom quote
Maternity sessions: Partner included. Add the whole family for +$75.
What is your average turnaround time?
Portrait galleries are delivered within two weeks or less. Wedding galleries are delivered within 8–12 weeks. I always do my best to deliver as quickly as possible without compromising quality.
What are your accepted payment methods?
Once a contract is signed, I will send you an invoice for the session fee. I accept all major credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Venmo, Cashapp, ACH bank transfer, and flexible payment options through Klarna and Affirm.

Am I allowed to re-edit my photos?
No. This is also in the contract that we will sign. When you hire a photographer, one of the biggest reasons you chose them is because you like their work. Part of their fee is the time and resources that it takes to edit your images and create that work. If you alter delivered images in any way (adding filters, AI markups, etc.) besides cropping, you are in violation of your contract, and those images no longer are a representation of Brytani Alexis Photography. They are no longer authentically me.
Can I have the original photos and just edit them myself?
No. Most professional photographers do not deliver RAW (original, unedited) photos. They are not a finished product and therefore do not represent the artist's work. Part of the fee associated with the session cost includes editing.
What is your cancellation/refund policy?
Sessions canceled by me with the intent to reschedule will ALWAYS be refunded or the fee will be moved to the newly agreed-upon date. Sessions canceled by the client for non-emergency reasons forfeit the retainer, as that time was reserved exclusively for you. Emergency situations will always be handled with compassion on a case-by-case basis. Weather-related cancellations may be rescheduled or refunded.
Do you travel? If so, are there any fees?
I do offer to travel to locations for an additional fee! Travel within 50 miles of Petal, MS is included. Beyond that, a $20 travel fee applies for every additional 50 miles traveled.

What if I'm awkward in front of the camera?
No worries! I hear this almost every session and I've got you covered! I'll guide you through posing from start to finish while encouraging genuine interaction and natural moments. My goal is for your session to feel relaxed, fun, and authentic.
