FAQ
How many pictures will we receive?
Each package comes with a different amount of guaranteed images, specified on the particular session's informational page. If you would like to purchase additional images, you most certainly can! There is an additional fee of $10 per image added.
How should I dress for my session?
Please wear whatever makes you feel most comfortable! I am more than happy to help you choose outfits and colors based on our chosen locations. When it comes to maternity sessions, I have a client closet of dresses you can choose from if that is more convenient for you!
What are the additional fees that you mention?
All of my session prices come at a base rate. There is an additional charge for outfit and location changes, as well as additional photo subjects for certain sessions.
Outfit change: $5/per outfit per person.
Location change: $10 per location.
Family session: sessions with 6 or more people will be an additional $10 per person.
Maternity sessions are for the pregnant individual. If you would like to add family, it will be an additional $100. (still less than an actual family session!)
What is your average turnaround time?
Unless I have a pressing matter, I start working on your photos as soon as I get home from our session! I am currently quoting 2 weeks or less for standard sessions. Wedding photos will be delivered within 3-4 months.
What are your accepted payment methods?
Once a contract is signed, I will send you an invoice for the session fee. I accept all payment methods, including credit/debit cards, except Paypal. (coming soon!)

Am I allowed to re-edit my photos?
No. This is also in the contract that we will sign. When you hire a photographer, one of the biggest reasons you chose them is because you like their work. Part of their fee is the time and resources that it takes to edit your images and create that work. If you alter delivered images in any way besides cropping, not only are you in violation of your contract, which is punishable by law, but those images no longer are a representation of Brytani Alexis Photography. They are no longer authentically me.
Can I have the original photos and just edit them myself?
No. Most professional photographers do not deliver RAW (original, unedited) photos. They are not a finished product and therefore do not represent the artist's work. Part of the fee associated with the package cost includes editing.
What is your cancellation/refund policy?
Sessions canceled by me with the intent to reschedule will ALWAYS be refunded or the fee will be moved to the newly agreed-upon date. Sessions canceled by the client for non-emergency reasons (as in none of the following: death, in the hospital, accident, COVID- with proof of positive test) automatically forfeit their retainer for the photographer's time, when that session time could have been reserved for another client. In the case of weather, any session needing to be canceled due to weather is also approved for a full refund or a chance to move the fee to a new date.
Do you travel? If so, are there any fees?
I do offer to travel to locations for an additional fee! Any location further than 50 miles from Petal, MS is an additional $20 per 50 miles. ($200 session 100 miles away is now $220, 150 miles away becomes $240, etc)
